Dr. DeMontmorency (Dr. D) was born in London Ontario to parents that had their roots in Brant County and in the farming industry. Eventually, the family was able to return to Brantford in 1970, at about the same time that Dr. Lind established his dental practice, and the future Dr. D became one of Dr. Lind’s first patients.

Dr. D attended Centennial Public School, North Park Collegiate and The University of Western Ontario, completing his education with a Degree in Dental Surgery. During Dental School, he enlisted as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and spent many summers in his undergrad learning skills in Military Dental Clinics. Upon graduation in 1983, Dr. D and his wife Nancy were posted to Cornwallis Nova Scotia for two years, and that followed with a posting to Gander Newfoundland.  While in Newfoundland, Dr Lind contacted Dr. D to offer him an opportunity to move back to Brantford and practice dentistry. Dr. D was a well respected member of the Canadian Armed Forces, but with a family on the way, in 1987 they decided to move home, where Dr. D has been an active part of the practice at 51 Nelson Street since.

Apart from work and family activities, Dr. D enjoys an active lifestyle that includes golfing, skiing, snowshoeing, biking and puttering in the garden.
