Dr. Bakhshi is well known with his patients for his genuine care and gentle touch and his kind manner with children. He enjoys getting to know patients and their families and providing dental care in a stress-free and relaxed environment. Dr. Bakhshi received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Toronto. Upon graduation, he worked in Toronto, Trenton, and Brampton Ontario for a few years before moving to beautiful Vancouver. He is always busy attending continuing education courses to gain advanced training in the treatment of patients with complex multi-disciplinary needs including wisdom teeth extraction, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Saman (Sam) Naddaf was born to be a dentist. When asked as a child what he would like to be when he grows up, a dentist was his first and only answer. Dr. Naddaf brings over 11 years of experience as a dentist. After graduating from University of Toronto, he worked in Port Hope, Ontario for several years prior to making the move to the beautiful British Columbia along with his wife and young daughter. He takes pride in being able to provide all aspect of dental care, from an infant’s first visit to complete cosmetic make overs, root canals, implants, and surgeries. Continuing education programs and clinical updates are a priority for Dr. Naddaf. Making people comfortable is his passion. Dr. Naddaf is an avid soccer player, adding golf to the days with better weather.

Dr. Jonathan Kao grew up in Toronto and obtained his BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto. After moving to Vancouver, he completed his Master of Science in Experimental Medicine, and then Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He has been practicing dentistry in Vancouver for over 23 years.

Dr. Jonathan Kao is well known for his patience and gentleness in the way he cares for his patients. He has many patients who search him out because they appreciate his light touch in dental treatments. His meticulous nature and integrity drive him to provide patients with the best results achievable. He maintains his commitment to excellence by frequently attending various advanced dental lectures, conferences and hands-on clinical programs. His greatest satisfaction comes from patients who smile confidently after restorative dental work has been done.

Dr. Amandeep Hans is a board-certified Periodontist. Dr. Hans attended the University of British Columbia, where he obtained his BSc., DMD, MSc. and Dip. Perio.

Following dental school, Dr. Hans served as a Dental Officer in the Canadian Forces for four consecutive years. He was posted to Halifax, NS and Kingston, ON. He was released honourably in 2017 to start a three-year residency in Periodontics. Dr. Hans completed his residency and obtained his Board certification in 2020.

Dr. Hans specializes in all aspects of periodontics and implant dentistry, including management of gum disease, dental implants, bone and soft tissue grafting. Dr. Hans also offers IV sedation.

Dr. Joel Fransen practices the full scope of modern endodontics including non-surgical treatment and endodontic microsurgery. He is one of only a handful of endodontists in North America who has pursued advanced training in implant dentistry.  Dr. Fransen is a previous ski racer, instructor and coach, and enjoys skiing with his family on the North Shore mountains.

Dr. Prabhjot Singh was born and raised in Kitimat, British Columbia. Dr. Singh later moved to Edmonton, AB to attend university. He graduated from the University of Alberta where he received a Bachelor of Medical Science degree and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

While in dental school, Dr. Singh became very interested in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty. To explore his strong interest, he completed externships where he was exposed to full scope oral surgery procedures at Indiana University, University of Kentucky, Oregon Health Sciences University, and University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Singh’s interest in this field of dentistry quickly grew into a passion, which fueled his ambition to develop a career as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Dr. Joshua Zhou was born and raised in Vancouver. He obtained his B.Sc in Pharmacology and Computer Science before and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Joshua Zhou is involved on the cutting-edge of discovery. Before entering dentistry, Dr. Zhou was a genomics and cancer researcher and has published multiple papers. As a dentist, Dr. Zhou keeps up to date with the latest advances in dental technology through literature and continuing education courses to empower his patients with healthy smiles.

While not in the office, Dr. Joshua Zhou can be found exploring the outdoors, trying new recipes, and playing a round of table tennis. Dr. Zhou is excited to be a part of the Williams Lake community and looks forward to your visit.
