Tom has been serving the Eastern part of Winnipeg for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1983 and is passionate about sharing his knowledge about Dentistry.

He continues to keep up with the latest advances in Dentistry with regular attendance to courses and seminars. As a student of the Kois Learning Centre, he is dedicated to advancing Dentistry through Science. He is also a current member MDA, CDA, Winnipeg Dental Society and past President of the Western Canadian Dental Society.

Tom is committed to always providing the highest standard of care combined with his warm and gentle manner in an environment that is both calm and relaxing. He strongly believes in the concept that having a healthy mouth and body can have a positive impact on your overall health and wellness, leading to a happy and productive life.

Tom believes in an active lifestyle, and in his free time, loves to ski, golf, curl, swim and play squash. He loves to travel and enjoys spending time with his growing family at the cottage, and would never give up a good day of fishing.

He’s known for his contagious laughter, and at any given time, you can usually catch him smiling.

Dr. Brian Ho obtained his Bachelor of Science degree as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Western University in London, Ontario. He then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University at Buffalo which focused on oral surgery and treating the medically compromised patient.

Dr. Ho is a full-time clinician practicing dentistry in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His practice is limited to full mouth rehabilitation and implant dentistry with a focus on bone grafting and PRF. He is a Fellow and Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Ho maintains privileges at the Western Surgery Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

 

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Psychology at the University of Winnipeg, Dr. Battaglia obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry at the University of Manitoba College of Dentistry.

 

Throughout her dental school career, Dr. Battaglia was the recipient of several awards and scholarships in the fields of restorative dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, fixed prosthodontics, humanitarianism, and leadership. She also enjoyed volunteering at events such as Tooth Fairy Saturday and the Teddy Bear Picnic, as well as, programs such as CanU and the Biomedical Youth Summer Camp.

 

In pursuit of further education, Dr. Battaglia was then accepted to the General Practice Residency program at Schulich School of Dentistry, Western University. Throughout this one-year hospital-based internship, Dr. Battaglia was extensively trained in treating medically compromised patients, facial space infections, dental trauma, and extractions.

 

Caring for others is Dr. Battaglia’s passion. She enjoys providing care to patients of all ages and believes that patient education and positive relationships are key in providing the highest standard of care. She values lifelong learning and is looking forward to expanding her skillset to provide greater comprehensive care. While she has great interest in performing dental surgery, she enjoys restorative dentistry and endodontics.

 

Outside of dentistry Dr. Battaglia loves the outdoors, whether it’s travelling the world, camping or hiking, she’s always on the go! Other hobbies include cooking and baking, golfing, yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
