Meet Dr. Amin Shivji, the founder behind 123Dentist.
In 1993, Dr. Shivji opened a small dental clinic in Vancouver with one thing in mind: the patient experience starts with the team. He believed that when dentists and dental professionals feel empowered, patients feel the difference. Over time, other dentists joined him — not through strategy or expansion, but because their values aligned. What started as one clinic began to feel like a community. And even now, as 123Dentist spans Canada, from Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton to Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, that belief remains unchanged.
Our vision is to build a dental community that every Canadian can rely on — where patients feel safe and respected, and dental professionals are free to focus on what matters most. The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) fits that vision: it brings more seniors, children and families through our doors, and 123Dentist welcomes them alongside every other patient.
