Dr. Ruby Bhullar graduated from the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2007 where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree (DMD). In 2010 he began a journey to become highly proficient in the field of Implant Dentistry. In 2013 Dr. Bhullar received accreditation as an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID). Since that time he has also received accreditation as a Fellow of the Academy of Clear Aligners (FAACA) and is currently a pre-Fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Bhullar is an established Invisalign provider having treated hundreds of cases that would have normally required metal braces. He has extensive experience in many forms of sedation, including Oral Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, and IV Sedation, to allow those highly anxious patients who would otherwise be unable to undergo treatment to do so in a relaxed atmosphere.
Staying current with modern technology is one of the pillars of his clinical practice. Dr. Bhullar regularly employs lasers, CT scans, and modern-day 3D digital scanners in the quest for the ultimate patient outcomes. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but his current practice is primarily focussed on IV Sedation, Oral Surgery, Dental Implantology, and Clear Aligner Orthodontics.
Dr. Bhullar is involved in many charitable organizations outside his work in the dental office. Notably, he is a co-founder of the Indo-Canadian Dental Association. In his leisure time, he plays ice hockey several nights a week with a team made up of university friends. Dr. Bhullar enjoys travelling and exploring the outdoors with his wife, two children, and their beloved German Shephard.
