Dental Health Linked to Dementia Risk

According to a recent study, people who regularly take care of their teeth have a lower risk of developing dementia.

The study followed close to 5,500 people over 18 years. Researchers found that the women who brushed their teeth less that once a day were 65% more likely to develop dementia compared to those who brushed daily. The men who brushed their teeth less that once a day were 22% more likely to develop dementia.
