Dr. Balina Bath was born and raised in British Columbia. After completing a BSc. in Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University, she went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from The University of Sydney in Australia. During her time there, she published her research on surface decontamination of dental implants in The Australian Journal of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Upon completion, she was awarded the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize for submitting the most outstanding research in the DMD program.

Dr. Bath has a particular interest in partaking and leading dental outreaches for underprivileged communities locally and globally. Most recently, she was able to participate in a dental missions trip to rural Cambodia, which allowed her to combine her passions for dentistry, volunteering, and travelling. 

Dr. Bath is a motivated clinician and believes it is of utmost importance to take the time to provide her patients with the most comprehensive care possible. Her goal is to increase the longevity of her patient’s dentition through a conservative, preventative approach. Dr. Bath is dedicated to ensuring that her patients are comfortable and that they understand why they are receiving the dental treatment they require.

Outside the office, Dr. Bath enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active through activities such as yoga, cycling, and skiing. She is also an avid traveller, who loves to discover a new country through its food and language.
