Dr. Behnam Malek, General Dentist, worked in Iran and has over 30 years of experience. He has successfully completed all the equivalency exams here in Canada (NDEB Certified 2017). He graduated from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (ranked 1st in Iran) in the top five percentile of the graduating class in 1984, shortly after he started working in various dental settings ranging from public government clinics to having his own practice. Over the years, he has approximately treated 2000 patients per year focusing on restorative dentistry. His experiences in having his own private practice to becoming the head of the Operative Department at the public clinic has given him valuable management skills as well. He moved to Vancouver last summer and has been working as an instructor at the University of British Columbia in addition to joining our clinic earlier this year.
