Dr. Lind was born, raised and educated in the city of Brantford, and attended the University of Western Ontario to complete his Bachelor of Arts degree in Science. He was fortunate to be chosen as one of eight students (out of a field of 2,500) to form the first class of the newly formed faculty of Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario and graduated from the new faculty in 1970.

After university, Dr. Lind and his wife Karen returned to Brantford where he established a sole practice in Dentistry at 51 Nelson (a building which was owned by his father and in which Dr. Lind himself was born). He also assisted in establishing the Department of Dentistry at the Brantford General Hospital for which he was chief for several terms and maintained hospital privileges for 45 years.

Dr. Lind is committed to education, and in addition to taking extensive courses to maximize his abilities in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics and implantology, he has also served as a clinical lecturer for dentistry at the University of Western Ontario.
