Brighten up the new year with some candle making at Mackin House, Saturday January 12th from 12pm to 3pm. Craft a selection of candles to take home and learn to work with soy, beeswax and more! The cost is $25 per person.
Come and visit the Maple Ridge Museum from 1-4pm on Sunday, January 27th to the massive model train diorama created by the Dewdney-Alouette Railway Society. During the open house, the club will answer any of your questions and will have several model trains running!

Rogers Hometown Hockey is coming to the Langley community January 12th and January 13th. The free family-friendly hockey celebration features two days of live entertainment, NHL alumni, hockey-themed activities for all ages and more! The festival culminates on Sunday evening with an outdoor viewing party of a national NHL game, Florida @ Vancouver, 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT, broadcast hosted live!
View the beautiful art installation by Kevin Schmidt entitled “Reckless” at the Polygon Gallery, daily from 4pm-11pm. The lights are timed to a soundtrack based on an album by former North Vancouver resident Bryan Adams and composed by Schmidt.
Do your kids love to build forts? Come to the Terry Fox Library for an after-hours fort building session from 5:30-7pm on January 25th! Celebrate family literacy day in your fort & enjoy reading with your family by flashlight. Fort building materials are provided.
