Dr. Bilal Smaily graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor in Science. He was awarded the Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy. After graduation, Dr. Smaily worked as an associate in Detroit, Michigan for three years. Dr Smaily’s keen interest in dental implants and the positive impact they have in patients’ life has led him to pursue advanced studies in Oral Implantology. He received his fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2008. He is an active member in the Ontario Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The International Congress of Oral Implantology, and The Canadian Society of Oral Implantology. He has received certificates of recognizing his advanced training in Surgical Oral Implantology from Temple University and the University of Michigan.

Dr. Smaily practiced as an associate in the Kitchener-Waterloo area before starting his own practice, B.Smaily Dental in 2006. Dr Smaily and his staff believe in providing quality dental care in a relaxing and welcoming environment to all their patients.

Since then, Dr Smaily’s pursuit of education and excellence continues. He devotes a large amount of time each year to attend conferences and continuing education courses to learn the latest techniques and advances in Restorative Dentistry, Sedation Dentistry, Oral Implantology and laser dentistry.

Dr. Joyce Kim graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2014. She is passionate about continuing education and actively attends continuing education courses. She loves to share her knowledge with patients, educating them on the value of optimal oral health and what treatments are available to achieve their goals. In her downtime, she enjoys travelling, hiking, yoga and overall spending time with her family. She is a supporter of the St Francis Table Food Shelter, Doctors Without Borders and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Dr. Ilitoi was born in Timisoara, Romania where she was awarded her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Victor Babesh Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Ilitoi & her husband moved to Kitchener, Ontario, in 2008, where she achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and they began to expand their family.

Dr. Ilitoi excels in the area of endodontics and surgery and has focused her training and continuing education to ensure root canals are treated in the most efficient and comfortable manner possible. Dr. Ilitoi received her Certificate in the Art and Science of Oral Implantology from The Ti-MAX Institute for Continuing Dental Education in 2018 and is successful at placing implants in our office.

Her most valued and rewarding part of dentistry is spending time with her patients – getting to know them, educating them on oral health, watching them grow, and helping them achieve a healthy and confident smile. When away from the office, Dr. Ilitoi enjoys spending time with her six children, husband, family & friends.
He has certifications in Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Oral Implantology.
