Braces have long been and will continue to be a fact of life for most children. Many parents may still recall days-gone-by when they heard taunting calls of “metal mouth” ringing through the school halls. But, times have certainly changed, as has orthodontic technology. The truth is braces offer children and teens more than the aesthetics of a beautiful new smile.
