Dr. Humna Ali is a general dentist at Spy Hill Dental who believes that great dentistry starts with genuine connection. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan, graduating in 2023, and has been building lasting relationships with patients ever since.
What Dr. Ali loves most about dentistry is the people. She enjoys getting to know her patients, educating them about oral health, and helping them feel confident and comfortable in the chair — especially those who come in with dental anxiety. She has a particular soft spot for working with kids, guiding families toward healthy habits that last a lifetime. She’s also a Level 1 Invisalign Fundamentals-certified provider, giving patients another path to a healthier, more confident smile.
Dr. Ali is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA), and the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), staying current with best practices to bring the highest standard of care to her patients.
Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, Dr. Ali moved to Calgary to be closer to the mountains she loves to explore. She’s fluent in French and brings a hands-on, creative spirit to everything she does — she sees dentistry as its own kind of art, one built on precision and care. Outside the practice, you’ll find her hiking, tackling a new DIY or home renovation project, chasing her latest hobby obsession, or enjoying a good coffee with friends and family. She’s also a supporter of causes close to her heart, including the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
