Dr. Ghassan Omera completed his dental degree in January 2004, followed by postgraduate studies in Periodontics in 2007 and a Master of Research in 2009, both from Lille 2 University in Lille, France. He worked at Lille 2 University Hospital and Dental School, where he taught periodontics and supervised the practical training and clinical work of dental students.
Dr. Omera is licensed by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and has successfully completed the Canadian Dental Board examinations. He also completed a program in Implantology in 2006 at the Department of Medical Training and Research in Stomatology & Maxillofacial Surgery, Pitié-Salpêtrière, Paris VI University, and is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Omera’s education and experience have prepared him to diagnose and treat periodontal and implant cases with a particular interest in plastic “gum” surgery. He has also completed training in Oral Sedation and Nitrous Oxide Sedation to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
