Dr. Hailey Heo moved from Korea at a young age and spent her childhood in Vancouver, BC. She completed her Bachelor of Science and the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of British Columbia. After starting her career in Abbotsford, Dr. Heo moved back closer to her family and began working in Maple Ridge.

Dr. Heo is dedicated to providing quality dental care in a comfortable setting for her patients. She enjoys building strong and caring relationships with her patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Heo enjoys quality time with her family as well as traveling and trying new restaurants with her friends.

Dr. Chris Chiu could be your “chew” doctor! His passion for dentistry stemmed from an early age, when after extracting his own wiggly baby teeth, he proceeded to chase his brother around for his. Years later, he was able to fulfill his childhood dream and graduate from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at University of Alberta. Being born and raised in Calgary, he is glad to be working back in his hometown.

Dr. Chiu wants nothing more than for his patients to smile confidently and eat painlessly. He practices minimally invasive dentistry and is always progressing his craft through continuing education. You will quickly notice his passion and joy when it comes to making teeth. As well, his calm demeanor may even have you napping in the chair!

While in school, he served on a mission trip with Kindness in Action to Amazon Basin, Peru, providing treatment for underprivileged locals. In his free time, Dr. Chiu loves to exercise, often biking, bouldering, or playing volleyball. He is always on the hunt for delicious food or desserts, so give him your best recommendations!

Dr. Lee was born in Calgary but raised in Vancouver, where he graduated dental school from the University of British Columbia. Unable to resist the cold, Dr. Lee is back and aims to give patients a comfortable, informative, and stress-free dental experience. In his spare time, he enjoys playing volleyball, basketball, exploring the city’s cuisines, and being outdoors.

“G,” as he is often called, graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1999. He returned home to Calgary after completing his degree and has been at Sunridge Dental Clinic ever since. He has a keen interest in orthodontics and completes both “wire” type braces and Invisalign®. Dr. Wibowo also performs dental surgeries, such as wisdom teeth extractions and dental implant placements. Outside of the office, he enjoys many different hobbies, including fishing and woodworking.

After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan in 1996, Dr. Parmar moved to Calgary to work for the Community Health Region at the Heritage Clinic, where she mainly worked with kids. She began working at Sunridge Dental Clinic in 1996 part-time, became a full-time dentist in 1997, and is currently the clinic owner. Being a mother of two children has given her unique insight into children’s oral health and habits. Her passion is to work with kids, and she devotes a good portion of her schedule to providing quality children’s dentistry with her assistant, Thu Dinh. Dr. Parmar provides services in English and Gujarati. In her spare time, Dr. Parmar enjoys travelling, skiing, and golfing.

Dr. Anjali Shah was born and brought up in India. She graduated as a Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 2014 and has been enjoying practicing dentistry ever since. Dr. Shah has keen interest in oral and maxilla facial surgery, children’s dentistry (Pediatric dentistry) and oral pathology for which she keeps updating her knowledge through Continuing Education.

In her free time, Dr. Shah loves travelling, hiking, reading, cooking and gardening! Dr. Shah has a wonderful, calming approach to patient care and is a comforting dentist for those might be nervous to come to the dentist. She looks forward to meeting you!

Dr. Ahmad Kabalan is a graduate from the University of Alberta Doctor of Dental Surgery program. A Calgary-born native, Ahmad is excited to serve his hometown community and educate his patients on their oral health. He is passionate about getting patients on the right track to feel confident about their smile and be able to eat pain free.

When he’s not helping his patients, Dr. Kabalan enjoys spending time with family and friends and maintaining an active lifestyle. Dr. Kabalan also has a passion for filmography and working on various creative projects

Dr. Wayne Young graduated from the University of Alberta in 1992, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSC) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, both with distinction. Based on his exceptional academic achievement and clinical performance, he was awarded the prestigious James McCutcheon Award and Silver Medal. After the successful completion of his degrees, Dr. Young immediately began practicing in rural Alberta. A short time later he opened the first of what would become many successful dental practices in Calgary.

Throughout his accomplished career, Dr. Young has continued to pursue educational opportunities to further refine the development of his skills and knowledge, and also widen his portfolio of treatments. He has completed various advanced courses which has made him a highly sought-after dentist in Alberta. Although Dr. Young’s expertise lies in the areas of dental implants, oral surgery, extractions, root canals and orthodontics (including Invisalign), he routinely performs all facets of general dentistry.

Dr. Young believes strongly in supporting and advocating for the advancement of the dental community at home and abroad. To that end, he has worked with a humanitarian organization performing restorative dental work on underprivileged children in Thailand. Dr. Young is part of the faculty of The Institute for Dental Excellence (T.I.D.E.) based in Toronto, serving as an advisor and supervisor to new dentists during the practical components of their course work. Closer to home, Dr. Young regularly mentors dental students in his clinics. Additionally, Dr. Young belongs to many professional associations including the Canadian Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association, the Calgary District Dental Association and the California Implant Institute.
